Sunday - Santa Monica Pier and Malibu

Sunday morning is was super foggy and overcast. So after another nice breakfast (don't think I didn't debate going back to the Griddle), we decided to walk down the beach to the pier to check it out.

I think Denny should be the spokesmodel for Muscle Beach don't you?

There's no way I was getting on a ferris wheel on a pier over the ocean, forget it! But it made for a nice background.

Finally after noon the clouds broke and the sun was shining and we headed up to Malibu! We got stuck in horrible traffic but finally found Paradise Cove. There was a restaurant and bar there too, so we were well taken care of!

I took this picture at the end of the day after most people had left, but earlier it was littered with people, you could hardly find a spot!

Denny and I both loved Malibu! Our entire trip was such a blast! We could not thank his parents enough for keeping the kids for us! That is the first time, EVER, we have been away from either of the kids that long, by ourselves!!!!! Yea Bumpa and Gigi!!!!!!!

(P.S. When can we go again?)
